Piano: Rebecca Taylor
Conductor: Simon Wright

The visit to Helmsley will see us perform an intimate chamber concert, using a small group of players from the full orchestra. Our soloist in the Beethoven will be the wonderful Rebecca Taylor - an old friend of the orchestra and well known to the audience of Helmsley. Bookending the concerto will be a wind serenade by Richard Strauss performed by the orchestra's superlative wind section, and the evocative Intermezzo and Nocturne from Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream. To close the concert, there will be a performance of Mozart's Symphony No. 25
Tickets will be available in due course from the Helmsley Arts Centre.
-----
We will always endeavour to perform the concert as shown; however, should circumstances require, the orchestra reserves the right to amend the concert date, timing, concert programme, soloist and ticket pricing without prior notice.
