Anastasia Bevan

Anastasia studied for a master’s degree with Mary Plazas. She was the recipient of the 2020 Dame Eva Turner Award and is generously supported by the A & N Kendall Award. She is a previous joint first prize-winner of the RNCM Frederic Cox Award for Singing and has performed in Jonathan Dove’s Flight (Tina) and Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen (Grasshopper and Jay) for RNCM Opera. Anastasia sings regularly with the Bevan Family Consort, consisting of sixteen first cousins. They made their début recording with Signum Records in 2021. Before turning to music full-time, Anastasia studied Philosophy at the University of East Anglia and was a professional chef for eight years.
