This concert is the first for quite some time (since February 2020 in fact), so we are eager to get started with a bang.  With the first event of the season, we present a concert that combines the forces of the York Guildhall Orchestra and Leeds Festival Chorus.

A concert of popular favourites from the world of Classical and Romantic opera, there are many well-known and popular tunes for everyone to enjoy.

We are delighted to be joined by two leading soloists, Jenny Stafford and Oliver Johnston – both superb artists and well worth hearing.

Please do come along and support both groups in this event.

Ticket prices: £18 for adults and £6 for children under 16 and students in full time education.  There is no seat allocation.  Tickets are available from the Barbican Box Office.

Please note that the York Barbican Box Office manage all ticket sales, not the orchestra.  They will add a transaction fee and a handling fee to these base prices.

Whilst we will endeavour to perform the concert as shown, the orchestra reserves the right to amend the date, programme, soloist and ticket pricing should circumstances require.
